 The Clear Lake Marina is located in scenic Riding Mountain National Park Manitoba Canada.Clear Lake measures 11kms by 7kms with the marina being on the south side of Clear Lake right next to the resort town of Wasagaming.The Marina offers paddle boat,canoe,kayak,fishing boats, pontoon and ski boat rentals. Fishing rods are also rented and tackle is available for purchase. Life jackets are included in all rentals and boat tours. The marina opens May long week-end and stays open right through to Thanksgiving.
Fishing is one of the experiences you can have on Clear Lake. The two main sport fish in the lake are Walleye and Northern pike but there are also other species such as whitefish,carp and Lake trout.
Clear Lake has a 30km shoreline with cabins along only 5kms, this means the natural shoreline, as it was hundreds of years before, is still very much in tact. It can be viewed from the water or you may hike,bike or walk right around the entire lake on lake shore walk.
The Martese boat tour has something for everyone. This 95 passenger vessel offers lunch, mid-day, dinner and evening cruises as well you may privately charter the Martese for your own special occasion. July and August the Martese tours every day.In the shoulder seasons you should always call ahead as the Martese boat tour days are selected by interest.
After you have explored Clear Lake there are many interesting sites to see in and around Riding Mountain National Park. One great way to see these sights is to take a guided bus tour in a fully air conditioned luxury motor coach. Choose from a sight seeing tour called "Where's the Mountain tour?" where you travel north on highway #10 watching for wildlife around every corner or take a cultural tour such as "What's a Budda?" on this tour dive into the rich history of the Ukrainian settlers. When you go on a Martese cruise this summer you will board by handing your Captain a ticket. This ticket is hole punched to void it of being used again and handed back to you. This year that voided ticket will still have value so don't throw it away! If this ticket was a lunch, mid-day or evening cruise it can be redeemed for the full price(less taxes.) Dinner cruise tickets also apply but have maximum redemtion value of $15.00. How you ask? Before leaving the Martese indicate to one of the crew that you are also going to be taking a bus tour. They will stamp this ticket and then when you go to enjoy one of the bus tours you will recieve a discount for the value of that ticket!
